Our Steel Framing System is the home
building market and commercial builders
have been waiting for. This technology
represents an evolution in the use of
tried and proven building materials,
in an engineered framing system which
is flexible to cater for any number
of design requirements.
The strength and durability of steel
frames are at the heart of our System
– a strength that defies warping,
twisting, shrinking and deterioration
and a flexibility that allows superb
design to be compatible with great savings
in time and cost.
The concept of our Framing System is
to synergise the benefits of mass production
with the craftsman of the builder to
provide homes to match any quality,
standard or budget. At the heart of
the home is the security and strength
of steel – which provides unparalleled
resistance to vermin and termites, cyclones
and earthquakes, distortions, shrinkage,
inaccuracies and compromise of other
building products. Performances of products
used are of the highest standard and
quality available.
Speed and ease of construction is paramount,
both to contain expenses and to reduce
dependency on highly skilled building
trades. Inexperienced persons following
simple construction procedures can easily
construct a building using our System
and makes the use of the system an ideal
solution for remote areas, and can be
shipped safely and conveniently on flat
top vehicles either as flat pack or
fully assembled.
The design and finishes available are
outstanding. By using our System, complicated
design work is eliminated. The flair
of the design is quickly translated
into a component list for manufacture.
Nothing in the System is a radical departure
from traditional and proven construction
methods. Hence risks are minimised,
and acceptance is assured
The 90mm profile will be used for all
wall studs and truss webs. As the material
moves through the roll-former there
will be a serious of notchings, punchings
and the forming of a series of dimples
where all stud, plate, noggings and
components fix together. The whole procedure
is computer generated and the system
is exact to the last fraction of a millimeter.
Service holes for the plumber and electrician
can be punched to suit all requirements.
A purpose made self-drilling screw will
be used for all connections during assembly
and erection of the System. The same
components will be used for the manufacture
of roof trusses. Extra screws will be
required when assembling the trusses.
Trusses will fix to the top of external
wall frames using a purpose made bracket.
The System will be fully engineered
with a comprehensive engineering manual
available for submitting to councils
and lending authorities as required.
A full set of plans and erection procedures
will be available with each frame when
it is delivered. All wall plates and
truss chords will be coded as they pass
through the rollformer and this code
will also be on the corresponding plans. |
